Wendy Ansell is our new counsellor. She holds a Diploma in Integrated Counselling and a Certificate in Phenomenological Existential Humanistic Person Centred Counselling Skills (British Association of Counselling recognized).

She describes her approach to counselling in these words . .

This approach sees the individual as unique. Present experiences are considered to be as important as those from the past. My belief is that you are the best expert on yourself, and so the very nature of this technique preserves defences so that your concerns may be addressed at your own pace and on your own terms.

The aim being that with the understanding of those concerns comes the potential for constructive change, and a more effective and beneficial way of living.

Wendy works on Wednesdays and Fridays and sees patients and the NHS and privately.
