The family planning association has a good section on sexually transmitted diseases

If you are concerned that you might have a sexually transmitted disease (STD), your best source of help is the local genito-urinary medicine clinic (GUM clinic). They can perform tests for any STD including chlamydia, gonorrhoea, herpes, syphilis, HIV and AIDs if you wish. You can see them in complete confidence, and we won't be told about it unless you want us to know. The address is

Careline

This service has been set up to give women, their partners and families, advice, support and counselling over pregnancy crisis or concern over a past abortion. A confidential freephone line  is available every weekday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lighthouse Family Trust

A local service at Mackmurdo House,
79 Springfield Road, Chelmsford, Essex 
The trust provides counselling for those who are pregnant and worried, who have post abortion problems or distress about a miscarriage. Free pregnancy testing is available. The counselling is for men as well as women, and the aim is to help you decide for yourself what is the best course of action

Relate provide a counselling services for people with problems with their relationship with their partner. They can also offer psychosexual therapy for those with sexual problems
